The Delta Arts Alliance serves as a bridge to connect diverse cultures through their contributions to the arts, to create a common vision, and to develop strategies for making the arts a more prominent part of daily life in the Mississippi Delta.

Delta Arts Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in downtown Cleveland, MS. Our campus includes the historic Ellis Theater, old Walt’s Service Station, and the Commerce Building.

The Ellis Theatre is home to our offices, gallery exhibitions, Permanent Crosstie Collection, Povall-Sanders Fine Arts Balcony, and the Juliet Kossman Whistlestop Stage. Walt’s Service Station is now our Arts Annex for Dance and Performing Arts.

Directly across from the Ellis Theatre is the Commerce Building, where DAA operates roughly 9,000 square feet of creative space for community programs that include art education & workshops, filmmaking, music recording & podcasts, and the future home of DAA Artist-in-Residence studios as we develop Phase II of our campus expansion.
